Mont Ventoux

Imposing and majestic, Mont Ventoux dominates the region from a height of 1,910 meters.

Nicknamed the "Giant of Provence", Mont Ventoux is both a legendary challenge for cyclists and a refuge for nature lovers.

From its slopes, the panoramas open onto the Alps, the Rhône Valley, and sometimes as far as the Mediterranean. Classified as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, it is home to exceptional flora and fauna.

In both summer and autumn, its hiking trails offer a complete change of scenery, just a few kilometers from La Maison de Marguerite.

Here, you can visit the largest Gallo-Roman excavations in France, a still-active ancient theater, and a charming hilltop old town, perfect for exploring on foot, through small squares and cobbled streets.

Around Vaison-la-Romaine, pretty villages such as Séguret and Gigondas will charm you with their authenticity. The Dentelles de Montmirail mountains offer breathtaking walks and viewpoints!
